In a devastating turn of events, popular young content creator, screenwriter, and actress Kaarina Kaisar has passed away while undergoing emergency treatment at the Christian Medical College (CMC) Hospital in Vellore, Chennai.
Her father, legendary former national footballer Kaisar Hamid, confirmed the tragic news.
Kaarina Kaisar was hospitalized last week after contracting acute Hepatitis A and E, which led to sudden liver failure. She was airlifted to India via a jet air ambulance on Monday night (May 11) for an advanced liver transplant. Tragically, her condition deteriorated rapidly due to a sharp drop in blood pressure and lung complications.
“The doctors tried their absolute best, but in the end, we couldn’t save her,” a heartbroken Kaisar Hamid shared.
Kaarina Kaisar was a beloved figure in the digital community, celebrated for her witty storytelling and vibrant presence. She successfully transitioned into mainstream acting, earning widespread acclaim for her roles in the Chorki original series ‘Internsheep’ and the film ’36-24-36′.
As the news of her untimely passing spreads, a profound wave of grief has swept across the nation, with co-stars, creators, and fans pouring out their tributes.
