The two individuals responsible for the shooting attack on Osman Hadi from a motorbike have been identified by a local media outlet as participants in Hadi’s own public relations (PR) campaign just hours before the attack.
According to an analysis by The Dissent, the two masked gunmen who opened fire had been seen accompanying Hadi during his public engagement at the Motijheel WAPDA Madrasa (Jami’a Darul Ulum Motijheel) area earlier this afternoon.
Matching Attire Confirms Identity
The Dissent reached this shocking conclusion by cross-analyzing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage obtained from the police and two photographs provided by Osman Hadi’s public relations team.
The clothing worn by the two assailants on the motorcycle reportedly matches the attire of the two masked individuals seen with Hadi during the campaign.
The report provided specific details on the attackers’ clothing:
- Assailant 1: Was wearing a black Panjabi, a black mask, a scarf around the neck, and sky-blue trousers.
- Assailant 2: Was seen in a black blazer, a black mask, spectacles, and leather-coloured shoes.
Both individuals were reportedly masked while participating in the PR event alongside Hadi.
The Dissent has stated that it is currently attempting to gather more photographs and footage from the day’s public relations activities to conclusively identify the assailants, promising to share new updates on their social media page as they emerge.
