Among the submitted reports is the much-discussed “pillow scandal” related to the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant project during the previous Awami League government.
Rooppur “pillow scandal” details
The audit findings highlight alleged procurement irregularities for the Green City residential project under the Rooppur nuclear plant in 2019.
According to the report, each pillow was allegedly purchased at Tk 5,957, along with additional inflated costs for transportation and installation. Significant irregularities were also reported in furniture and electronic item procurement worth Tk 169 crore.
Other reported anomalies include:

Officials said the report details multiple layers of financial irregularities in the project.
