Fuel Prices Increased in Bangladesh, New Rates Effective from Sunday

The government has increased fuel prices across the country, according to a notification issued on Saturday by the Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources.

Under the new pricing structure, octane will cost Tk 140 per liter, petrol Tk 135, diesel Tk 115, and kerosene Tk 130.

Previously, the prices were Tk 120 for octane, Tk 116 for petrol, Tk 100 for diesel, and Tk 112 for kerosene. This means prices have increased by Tk 20 for octane, Tk 19 for petrol, Tk 15 for diesel, and Tk 18 for kerosene.

The ministry stated that the revised prices will come into effect from Sunday (April 19).
