Bonolota Express Box Office: $154k in 3 Days & 16th on Hollywood Chart

Hold onto your seats, because the Bonolota Express has officially reached a destination no one saw coming: the Hollywood Domestic Box Office Chart!

In a massive win for Bangladeshi cinema, director Tanim Noor’s latest masterpiece just grabbed the 16th spot in the US box office rankings. This is a huge deal—it’s the first time a film from our country has ever cracked the Top 20 in Hollywood’s backyard!

The movie isn’t just winning hearts; it’s making serious bank. In just its first three days, it pulled in a whopping $154,000 in gross collections. Thanks to this flying start, it’s already the 4th highest-grossing Bangladeshi film of all time in the US and Canada. And remember, that’s with just three days of data!

If you haven’t seen it yet, the movie is based on the legendary Humayun Ahmed’s novel Kichukkhon. Imagine this: a foggy winter night, a train moving through the mist, and a bunch of strangers stuck together. Everyone has a secret—from personal drama to political mess.

As the journey goes on, masks fall off, revealing hidden grief and unexpected kindness. By the time the train reaches its stop at dawn, no one is the same. It’s deep, it’s emotional, and with a cast like Mosharraf Karim, Chanchal Chowdhury, Azmeri Haque Badhon, and Sariful Razz, you know the acting is top-tier.

The producers didn’t play small. They released it in 52 international theaters across the US (AMC & Regal), Canada (Cineplex), and the UK. People are lining up, and “Housefull” signs are becoming a common sight in New York and Toronto.

It’s safe to say the “Bonolota” magic is real. Whether you’re a fan of Humayun Ahmed’s nostalgia or just love a good thriller, this is one train you definitely don’t want to miss!
