The body of Bangladeshi expatriate Shah Alam, who was killed in the United Arab Emirates when debris from a missile intercepted from Iran struck the area, has arrived in Bangladesh.
The remains were brought home on Thursday at 8:37 am via Emirates Airlines flight EK0582, landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
According to the Bangladesh Embassy in the UAE, Shah Alam, a resident of Dibba in Fujairah, UAE, was killed on April 1 around 6:00 am local time when debris fell during the interception of a missile launched from Iran.
The embassy expressed its deep condolences to the bereaved family of Shah Alam.
