To streamline the activities of the 13th National Parliament, the first meeting of its parliamentary committees is set to take place today. According to sources from the Parliament Secretariat, the meeting will be held at 11:00 AM in the Cabinet Room (Level 2) of the Parliament Secretariat. Being the first committee meeting under the new parliament, it is expected to provide initial guidance on various important issues.
On the same day, at 4:00 PM, a separate meeting of ruling party MPs will be held in the Parliament House. The discussion is likely to cover the current political situation, legislative agenda, and future parliamentary plans, according to sources.
Officials from the Parliament Secretariat believe that these meetings will play a crucial role in initiating and energizing regular parliamentary activities. Notably, the first session of the 13th National Parliament began on March 12, and preparations have been ongoing since then to ensure a smooth and active parliamentary workflow. With today’s meeting, the operations of the parliamentary committees will officially commence.
