Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, addressed the nation for the first time on Thursday since the end of the 12-day war with Israel.
In his speech, he said that the United States directly entered the Iran-Israel war because they believed that if they did not, the Zionist regime would be completely destroyed.
Khamenei also said that the United States did not achieve any success from this war. Iran emerged victorious and dealt the United States a significant setback.
In an English-language message, Khamenei said, “The Islamic Republic of Iran has dealt America a hard slap in the face.”
He said Trump said in a speech that Iran must surrender. Trump has exposed the truth that the United States will only be satisfied with Iran’s surrender. But Iran will never surrender. Our nation is strong.
Iran’s supreme leader has also warned that if anyone tries to show aggression against Iran again, they will pay a heavy price.
He said, “The price of aggression against Iran will be high. The Zionists (Israel) never thought they would receive such a blow from Iran. Our armed forces have bypassed the various defenses of the enemy and struck their heartlands.”
