Bangladesh Embassy in Doha Issues Safety Advisory for Citizens in Qatar Amid Iran-Israel War

The Bangladesh Embassy in Doha has urged all Bangladeshi expatriates in Qatar to exercise special caution in light of the situation arising from the outbreak of the Iran-Israel war.

In an emergency notice issued on Saturday (February 28), the embassy requested citizens to remain vigilant for their safety. Bangladeshis have been advised to stay away from military installations and remain at their residences or in other safe locations. They have also been urged to avoid going বাইরে unless absolutely necessary until the situation improves.

The notice further advised expatriates to keep essential items with them at all times, including cash, Qatar ID (QID), health card, necessary medicines, mobile charger, and dry food.

The embassy called on citizens to respect Qatari laws and follow official statements and directives issued by the Qatar government. It also warned that uploading photos or videos related to such incidents on social media is against Qatari law, urging everyone to remain cautious in their online activities.
