In Rupganj, Narayanganj, a 24-year-old woman was allegedly raped by two men at knife-point in front of her husband early Monday morning in Tarabo Municipality. The victim filed a case at Rupganj Police Station on Monday evening.
According to police and the FIR, Afzal Khan and an accomplice entered the victim’s home, covered her mouth, and threatened her with a knife. When her husband intervened, he was also threatened with a weapon. The perpetrators warned that they would kill the woman, her husband, and their sleeping child if their demands were not met. The woman was then raped—first by an unknown person, followed by Afzal Khan. The attackers also stole two mobile phones from the house.

Officer-in-Charge Md. Sabzel Hossain confirmed that a case under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act was filed. The two accused were arrested Monday night, and the stolen phones were recovered.
Authorities are continuing investigation into the incident, and the case is under active legal proceedings.
