Iran has issued six main conditions to end the ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel, warning that no agreement or compromise is possible unless these demands are met. A senior Iranian political and security official confirmed the information to Mehr News on Sunday (March 22).
The official said that Iran has been implementing a long-planned, multifaceted defense strategy developed months ago. With “high-level strategic patience,” this plan is currently active, and Tehran has made it clear that military operations will continue until its goals are fully achieved.
In an interview with Lebanese media outlet Al-Mayadeen, the official claimed that after neutralizing US and Israeli air defense and radar systems in the region, Iran now has full control over Israeli airspace. He added that Iran will continue its policy of punishing aggressors until the United States and Israel are given a “historic lesson” and Iran can respond decisively to policies adopted by former US President Donald Trump.
Despite regional mediators conveying ceasefire proposals from Washington, Iran has insisted it will not compromise on its preconditions. The six key conditions are:
- Guarantee that no future wars will occur.
- Permanent closure of all US military bases in the Middle East.
- Full compensation for Iran’s war damages.
- Cessation of all military operations across the entire Middle East.
- Establish a new international legal framework for the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.
- Trial and extradition of certain media figures considered involved in anti-Iran activities.
Iran considers these conditions part of a new legal and strategic framework to ensure long-term regional stability. However, these demands, particularly the closure of US bases and the extradition of foreign media personnel, are seen by analysts as extremely difficult for Washington and its allies to accept.
Some allied nations, like Belarus, have expressed optimism about Iran’s potential success, but analysts view these six conditions as a reflection of Iran’s strong strategic position on the battlefield.
