According to officials from the BNP Chairperson’s press wing, Rahman will visit the residences of Shafiqur Rahman, the Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, and Nahid Islam, the Convener of the National Citizen Party (NCP), on Sunday evening.
Schedule of Visits

Post-Election Landscape
The BNP secured a landslide victory in last Thursday’s election, winning 209 seats and achieving a two-thirds majority, paving the way for them to form the new government.
Conversely, Jamaat-e-Islami and its allies, including the NCP, won 77 seats and are set to take their places in the opposition bench.
Earlier today, Tarique Rahman held a press conference calling for national unity and requesting cooperation in governing the country moving forward.
