Syeda Sharmila Rahman Sithi, the wife of late Arafat Rahman Koko, participated in an election campaign today on behalf of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman, who is contesting the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election from the Dhaka-17 constituency.
At approximately 3:00 PM on Saturday, Syeda Sharmila Rahman Sithi joined a mass contact and leaflet distribution program in front of the Suvastu Nazar Valley Market in Shahzadpur.
During the campaign, she urged voters to support the BNP Chairman, stating:
“I have come here today for Bhaiya (Tarique Rahman). I request you all to pray for him and cast your valuable votes in his favor.”
Accompanied by Barrister Mehnaz Mannan and local leaders of the BNP and its affiliate organizations, Sharmila Rahman continued the campaign through Shahzadpur and the Gulshan DNCC Market areas.
