Public Works Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan has said that the official residence for the new Prime Minister will be selected according to his preference. He also confirmed that 37 residences are ready for newly appointed ministers in different areas of the capital.
Speaking to reporters at the Secretariat on Monday (February 16), the adviser said the houses prepared for ministers and state ministers are located in Minto Road, Dhanmondi and Gulshan. He added that preparations are underway to arrange a few more residences if needed, expressing hope that all necessary arrangements will be completed by the time the new cabinet members take oath.
