Jamaat-Chhatrashibir is doing politics in Jewish style: Chhatra Dal President Rakib

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir are engaging in Jewish-style politics of deceit, Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam has claimed. He said that far from being their supporters, Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir have kept the identities of their hundreds of thousands of loyal leaders and activists undisclosed and secret for ages, and even though they are plagued by political and non-political problems in their families, society, and personal lives, the party is not taking responsibility for them. For engaging in such Jewish-style politics of deceit, the scholarly community and we call Jamaat Shibir hypocrites.

He made this claim in a post on his verified Facebook account on Sunday (February 15).

Rakibul Islam Rakib said, “There will be no more secret politics in Bangladesh. All the committees of Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir must be made public. We want to see whether any of their hundreds of thousands of leaders and activists are ever free from family, social, and personal problems. According to their descriptions, it is time to examine whether they are angels from another planet or not.”

The Chhatra Dal president said that if not only the leaders and activists of BNP but also its supporters are plagued by various non-political problems, such as personal, family, social, etc., in the context of the reality of Bangladesh, they are mobbed in educational institutions. Dirty and indecent slogans are raised in the name of top leaders. Rumours are spread one after another on social media, and a photocard is made with a mixture of truth and lies and spread all over social media. In most cases, such misdeeds are committed by the Shibir’s B-team and C-team, rather than directly facing them.

He further said, “This evil tactic of politically discrediting BNP by keeping millions of leaders and activists secret will not be allowed to continue. This issue will be resolved politically soon.”
