haka, December 5, 2025 — The inaugural Mental Health Dialogue in Dhaka is set to open an urgent and timely conversation on psychological wellbeing, co-hosted by mental health platforms PsychTalks and Batchitt. The event is structured to accelerate and deepen the dialogue around mental health, which organizers stress demands immediate public attention in the current climate.
Focus on Palestine and Collective Trauma
This year’s dialogue is centred on the theme of Palestine, focusing specifically on the immense psychological burden of conflict, displacement, and collective trauma. The event aims to draw critical parallels between global struggles and local mental health realities, creating a space for informed discussion, reflection, and empathy among participants.
Key Session on Contemporary Challenges
A central feature of the program will be a talk on Contemporary Mental Health Challenges, facilitated by Mohammad Hasan Tanvir, Lecturer at the Department of Psychology, Dhaka College. His session is designed to address current stressors affecting individuals and communities, contextualizing these challenges within both local and global environments.
