40 Killed in Bombing at Iranian Girls’ School Amid US-Israel Military Operation

At least 40 people have been killed in a bombing at a girls’ school in Iran, marking the first reported fatalities since the start of joint US-Israel military operations in the country.

According to Iranian media, the victims were students who died as a result of the bombing at the school. The attack comes as multiple Iranian facilities have been targeted in what has been described as a joint assault by the United States and Israel.

Initial reports also indicated strikes near an office associated with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Around the same time, explosions were reported in various parts of the country. In the capital, smoke was seen rising from several areas of Tehran, further escalating concerns over the expanding military campaign.

US President Donald Trump announced that a “major military operation” is underway in Iran, and called on the Iranian people to challenge the Islamic leadership that has governed the country since the 1979 Revolution.

The situation remains tense as developments continue to unfold.
