On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Prime Minister Tarek Rahman exchanged greetings with people from various professions and members of the diplomatic community on Saturday (March 21) at the State Guest House Jamuna.
The greeting exchange program began at 10:00 am, drawing a huge crowd of well-wishers. The gates of the Jamuna premises were opened to the العامة from 8:30 am, and a large number of মানুষ quickly gathered. General citizens, party leaders, and activists, as well as people from different professions, joined the event to greet the Prime Minister.
At one point, the crowd stretched all the way to Hotel InterContinental, reflecting the overwhelming public response. Members of law enforcement agencies were actively deployed throughout the area to maintain security and discipline.
Earlier in the day, President Md. Shahabuddin and Prime Minister Tarek Rahman offered Eid prayers at the National Eidgah ground at the High Court premises. The main congregation began at 8:30 am.
