A preparatory committee has been officially formed for the National Students Assembly (NSA), aiming to drive qualitative transformation in society and the state through the spirit of the Great Liberation War and the July Mass Uprising.
The announcement was made via a press release on Wednesday (March 11), outlining the organization’s vision to establish a research-oriented and career-focused education system, promote political education, and ensure safe, terror-free campuses across Bangladesh.
The preparatory committee includes:
- Rezwan Ahmed Rifat
- Kishwar Samya
- Abu Bakar Siddiq
- Anika Tahsina
- Hasibul Hasan Jisan
- Md. Saiful Islam
- Nafiza Sultana Omi
According to the press release, the committee will spend the next three months engaging in dialogues with students from various universities, madrasas, and colleges nationwide. These discussions will culminate in a “National Student Convention,” marking the formal launch of the National Students Assembly’s organizational activities.
The organizers also noted that the number of committee members will be increased periodically as the movement expands to include more voices from the student community.
