The British High Commission in Dhaka has announced that starting February 25, the United Kingdom will issue only e-visas for Bangladeshi citizens.
According to the announcement, after the e-visa is issued, travellers must submit their passport details and create a UKVI account to verify the e-visa before travelling. Verification of this information is mandatory before entering the UK.
The High Commission also emphasized that updating information in the UKVI account is free of charge, and travel to the UK will only be permitted once all e-visa verification steps are completed.
